Thanks for asking!! I took this picture in 2006 from a temporary bridge across Leningradsky Prospekt, where I lived for a long time. Leningradsky Prospekt is being widened from 4 lanes in each direction to...I'm not sure, and the reason I'm not sure is because it is still going on four years later, and I have no doubt it will be going on for another forty. Leningradsky is one of the most congested arteries in Moscow, leading out to the North and the bad airport.
About the billboard. The billboard is a Coke ad (look again...see the bottle?) and the slogan plays on the words for "road" (дорога) with the word for "dear" (дорогой). So, the expression on the board could mean, alternatively:
"Keep your eyes constantly on the road."
Or, what I think is a better blog slogan:
"Each and every one of your glances in our direction means a great deal to us."
Cool, huh?
